First onboarding

A short setup so your coach knows your body, goal, and weekly availability — before building plans or reading your Garmin data.

After you sign in with Google or Apple, Brotein.pro may guide you through onboarding. You can also start from the dashboard chat with “Onboard me” if you skipped setup earlier.

Form setup (3 steps)

Open onboarding from signup or the dashboard prompt. You move through three screens:

  • Basics — weight, height, age, optional injuries, and training background (e.g. weekly volume, experience).
  • Your goal — race preparation, performance, general fitness, or weight loss, plus an optional target event name.
  • Your training — how many days per week you can train, or a free-text description (e.g. mornings only).

Chat onboarding

In the Chat tab, tap “Onboard me”. The coach asks one question at a time (height, weight, experience, goal, availability, injuries) and saves each answer to your profile as you go. You can skip anytime and ask your own questions instead.

Skip for now

You can skip the form with “Skip setup for now”. The coach will still work, but plans and advice improve once basics and a goal are on file. Profile chips in the sidebar show what the coach already knows.

After onboarding

You land on the dashboard. Next step: connect your training data. **With a Garmin watch**, connect intervals.icu (preferred — wellness, HRV, sleep). **Without Garmin**, connect Strava directly. See Connecting training data or Strava setup. Your language preference (Polish or English) is saved with your profile.
