When reviews run
After Garmin data reaches intervals.icu and Brotein.pro caches the session (sync, webhook, or Refresh from ICU), the proactive coach queues an analysis. Reviews are debounced so duplicate syncs do not spam you.
Where you see them
The review appears as a coach message in Chat. Open the same session under Workouts to read the coach review on the activity detail page (splits, HR, laps, and review text).
What’s in a review
Each review is grounded in your data and training plan when available:
- Rating out of 10 with a specific one-line verdict.
- Planned goal vs what you actually did (pace, HR, intervals).
- What went well and the main mistake or risk, with numbers where they matter.
- One clear instruction for the next similar workout.
- Optional follow-up question about how the session felt.
Plan matching
If the session matches a planned day, adherence updates on the plan calendar. Off-plan workouts still get an “off-plan review” so unstructured sessions are not ignored.
Race debriefs
After goal events, the coach may send a proactive event debrief — similar structure, focused on race execution and the next block of training.
Requirements
Proactive reviews need intervals.icu connected (Strava-only paths are skipped when ICU is primary). AI coaching must be available on your plan — trial, subscription, or budget limits apply like regular chat.
